She herself was raised a farm girl and vowed never to marry a farmer. This book is a series of vignettes, short humorous tales that relate incidents of daily life on the farm. Bridgette shares the load with her husband, milking cows, delivering calves, mucking out and - always smelling of cows, even when she has to go into town.
