This activity book contains simulations, role-plays, historical and contemporary debates as well as art, writing, oral history and cooperative-learning projects. Expanding learning beyond the textbook, these active-learning strategies include critical thinking and decision-making and will engage students in understanding key concepts, events, and issues. These activities can be used in any authentic or performance-based assessment program.
