Author Description

Door Waves is a four-scene script written for two female actors and one male actor. It incorporates poetic dialogue, ritual-inspired movement, and a minimalist set design to weave a narrative of intention, revelation, and personal conquest. The title is derived from the one prop that is consistent throughout the performance, which is a wooden door frame. In it's entirety, the run time is approximately 25 minutes; however, the script is written with director freedom in mind. Creative blocking, pacing, and lighting techniques will only further enhance the gauzy, dreamscape quality of this experimental script.
