Author Description

"Love Me in the Rain" is a heartwarming, deeply emotional novel about two souls destined to find each other when they least expect it. Claire Bennett has built a life around gentle routines and the safe predictability of her literature classroom. She believes she knows her place in the world - until a rainy afternoon strands her under a bookstore awning with a stranger who feels anything but ordinary. Daniel Rivers, a once globe-trotting photojournalist, is back in Willow Creek, nursing an injury that has left him questioning where he truly belongs. He's seen the world through his camera lens - the heartbreak, the beauty, the chaos - but he's never seen anything quite like Claire. One encounter. One shared moment in the rain. And everything begins to change. As the seasons pass - from misty autumn walks to snowy mornings, from heartfelt confessions to silent struggles - Claire and Daniel's connection deepens. Together, they navigate old wounds, buried secrets, and the quiet fears that have kept them from reaching for more. With each umbrella shared and each coffee warmed by laughter, they learn that real love isn't about sweeping gestures or grand declarations. It's about showing up, staying present, and holding on - even when the storms roll in.
