He Calles Me Daughter provides a deep look at Jesus’ encounter with a woman in the synagogue. She had been ignored for many years, even falsely blamed, yet her faith in God was strong. We’ll take a journey with a woman Jesus healed physically and spiritually. He restored her sense of self-worth by giving her a new name, a title she could wear with confidence and courage. By calling her a “daughter of Abraham” he restored to her what she lost a long time ago, a sense of value and belonging. The woman in the synagogue is you and me. We are her … but not for long.
