With the backing of the Arts Council England and the Housing Corporation the authors wanted to document the incredible community arts projects they found in the UK and highlight them as case studies to demonstrate the wide range of projects, from small to large and how they can positively impact on communities. The main part of the book comprises of 15 fantastic case studies and the benefits the community gained from these projects. There is also a very helpful section on how to organise and run your own arts project.
