The first part in a series published in association with Tromso University, this study looks at the way in which the sociological and anthropological aspects of theology have become more important in analyzing religion. The term Arctic covers Europe, Asia and North America. Many of the peoples discussed are under severe pressure from outside cultures, and may even be facing ethnic extinction. This work seeks to ensure that their cultures and religious beliefs are internationally understood.
