Thousands of hours were spent researching old court records, census records, land records, historical documents, and books. Field research included visiting site locations and talking to descendants of those who participated in the stories being told. Each event is depicted in the most accurate way possible to tell the history of settlement of Comanche County, Texas and its surrounding areas.
