The sequel to Giroskop. Alan Rushton just wants a holiday. No Russians, No Stasi. Especially no-one shooting at him. So, Florida to see a rocket launch with his girlfirend, Karen. But a Cuban body washes up in the Keys and it leads to the prospect of the USSR bringing down an experimental satellite. Once again, Alan finds himself up to his neck in spies, the CIA, Cubans and mercenaries. Do they want him alive or dead? Either way, his holiday plans are a bust. Set in the world of 1976 at the (almost) end of the Cold War, the story follows Alan and his CIA colleague Kirsten Blaine as they struggle to understand quite who is after them and more importantly, why?
