Many people get turned off in any discussion about religion or spirituality. These topics are difficult to discuss because the subjects are polarizing. They are difficult to talk about in groups of people with different views. I spent 40 years of my life in organized religion while also searching for what I felt was the true meaning and purpose for us being here on earth. I believe there are lot of other people doing the same thing, but don't want to let anyone else know they are on this same journey, out of fear or embarrassment. I want to openly share the struggling questions I wrestle with even today as I transition from organized religion to a path that encourages love of all mankind. I want everyone to see the topics I researched and the conclusions I developed from the subjects I studied. I discuss a concept that was so life-changing for me, I earnestly want everyone to consider how it may help them as well My hope is that by reading through my journey, others will learn to look at life with an open mind and an a new set of understandings on why we are here on this earth and what the ultimate purpose of being human is all about.
