Nachdem nämlich Plinius von dem Alcamenca und Aristides gespro chen hat, geht er zum Iphicrates über, einem fast nirgends erwähnten Künstler der 60ger Olympiaden, der eine Liiwinn ge Ubeüethattae. Es ist hier nicht der Platz zu erwähnen, was andere mit diesem Namen vorgenommen haben: uns genügt aus der vor treiichen Vosaiachen Handschrift (at Polyclett' discipnluß Ari stidea feet?
