It was the holidays in Noel Falls and nothing was quicker to bring me home then Christmastime surrounded by my family. I'd jumped in my little car, happily singing carols, way too noisily, and sipped hot cocoa the entire way. I was off work and ready to spend my vacation the right way, with a stomach full of freshly baked cookies, and time spent with my best friend. Imagine my surprise when the first man I run into isn't a hunky lumberjack, but my superstar hockey player ex-boyfriend. He's the one I've always deemed got away, who's had me comparing every man I've met, to him. Of course, fate would place him in my path when I least expect it, but that doesn't mean I have to give in, right? With the holiday festival quickly coming up, and my family counting on me, the pressure stacks up. From one obstacle to another, I'm left in a coffee shop contemplating what to do next.
