Do you fear failure? Do you fear criticism? Do you replay bad events over and over in your mind? Much of what we fear and why we do not achieve what we want has to do with our past and how we were brought up. Many people as children were given faulty rules about how to act and behave that they carry with them to adulthood. These faulty rules no longer serve us as adults and keep us stuck in the past. The question I have been asking almost my entire life is: Why are some people able to succeed when others cannot? I used to think it was a matter of motivation. However, what I have come to believe, because I experienced it personally and I have seen it in others firsthand, is oftentimes people fear doing the things they would like to do because they fear failure, fear criticism and being laughed at. Also they struggle because they have picked up beliefs that because they are black, white, brown, male, female, aren't smart enough, good enough, come from the wrong side of town, and therefore give up before even starting. These rules and beliefs hold people back. They may hold you back. I will show you that by admitting some of the things that come up for you, the fear, self-doubt, anxiety, worry, and tracing these feelings back to their roots, you can unwind these faulty notions, rewire your brain, develop a vision of what you want, and reinvent yourself to achieve it. In Reinventing Yourself, I will provide a step-by-step process that will show you how to master your emotions, invent a vision of what you want, develop a strategy to achieve it, and take action to transform your life. You will gain peace of mind, you will become more creative, take more so-called "risks" by staring fear in the face, and see that much of what you fear and are concerned about are only interpretations formed in your mind. I will show you how to harness the power of taking action in line with your vision, to become the person you would like to be, and make progress
