Author Description

Forward to the Past is the story of Brenda, a suburban housewife living in New Jersey in 1985. She is married to Marc and they have two boys. Her life is good until she and Marc buy an antique, French needlepoint screen. She places it in the living room and as she is admiring it, strange visions and images appear on the screen. That is the beginning of a mysterious chain of events involving the screen, that makes Brenda believe she is going crazy. Her husband agrees and wants her to see a psychiatrist. Only her best friend, Carol, who is a believer in reincarnation, feels her visions are really flashbacks to another life. Brenda gets more and more engrossed in the flashbacks, but now does not believe she is losing her mind. Marc is not so sure.
