Author Description

In 1997, I met the man who would become my husband and father to my 7-year-old daughter. We dated long distance on and off for two years before we got married in a beautiful wedding that was attended by our friends and family. In 2017, my daughter and I finally escaped his abusive behavior. How did we do it? How are we today? How did we go from barely surviving each day to thriving? My story is for anyone who finds themselves in a dark, impossible situation, feeling broken and hopeless. My story is about the abused and the survivors. I pray that you are not one of these, but if you are, be aware that there is always a way out and you are never alone as you may feel.
