Author Description

This book contains poems I wrote battling depression. All but 1 was written in an inpatient hospital. That one poem was first I ever wrote and won me 4 awards on www.poetrysoup.com; where it was featured on the home page for four months. These poems are raw and emotional. Be warned before reading because they can be triggering for some who are struggling mentally. The purpose of my memoir is to spread awareness and help others that are struggling like I have. My goal is not make profit, instead help others and let them know they are not alone struggling with mental illness. I hope you enjoy these poems. They are my own from my thoughts and I did not steal or use anyone's material.
