Author Description

This book is a catalogue of selected seashells from the collection of Emilio F. García as well as collecting accounts in the Caribbean and offshore the Gulf of Mexico. The images which include measurements are accompanied with accurate data and comments on many of the figures. Some species are provided with multiple images to show variation. Microscopic details are provided for some images. The book has over 500 images of shells mostly from the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. A detailed appendix is included.
