Play-Full by Carol Schaffner - 30 short plays for elementary classroom production. Kids love plays. From the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree to the tiniest glimmer, they all seem to delight in getting up in front of an audience, pretending to be someone or something other than themselves. The plays in this book are teacher tested (by me and others) and designed to be performed in a classroom or stage setting. Very little in the line of scenery, props, and costumes is usually required, and is listed on the cover page for each script. This is a compilation of plays I have written for my classes during my 33 years of teaching. So my best advice is jump in, maintain your sense of humor, and let your kids experience the Magic of Make Believe!
