Die Einfassung der rechtwinklig abgeschlossenen Nischen wird oben und unten meist durch Holzbalken bewirkt, in einem Fall fanden wir das auf der Wand aufliegende Ende eines solchen Balkens mit dem Rest einer dünnen braunen Tonplatte, also einer Art Wandiese, verkleidet.
