Excerpt from Mitteilungen aus dem Jahrbuche der Kgl. Ungarischen Geologischen Reichsanstalt, Vol. 22 SE gegen nw, also in der Streichrichtung des Ungarischen Mittelgebirges am nw-ufer des Sees von Velence, von Pazmand bis Szekesfehervar. Das Gebirge ist heute bereits ein Rumpfgebirge. Es ist im Durchschnitt 200 - 240 m hoch, und nur jene Kegel erheben sich uber diese Höhe, die aus Gesteinen bestehen, welche der Erosion besonders widerstehen. Der höchste Punkt des Gebirges ist der Meleghegy (852 m). Über die Durch schnittshöhe erheben sich noch der Templom-hegy (826 m) und der Csücsos hegy (268 m) in bedeutenderem Maße.
