Yet the most satisfactory forms are to-day made on the principle of those constructed ten years ago. The Feather weight and Compact Tripods are sufficiently rigid for all sizes of cameras up to 6% X above which the Combination should be used. The English Folding Tripod is a less expensive form yet very rigid and easily set up. It does not possess the advantage of being adjustable to different heights. It is sufficiently rigid for all sizes of cameras up to 8 x 10. In the selection of a Tripod, it is wise to select the best.
