Author Description

"The little keeler Scout, has raced successfully in and around Auckland with the C-class most of her life.... Her story as a work boat, home, racing yacht, and cruising and party boat for generations, is largely told by the people who sailed on Scout. Their stories over a century of change cast light on the yachting and social conditions of their day, giving a very personal view of the early years of Auckland yachting." -- Back cover.
