Author Description

Inhabiting an Island by Starr Cummin Bright is a poetry chapbook based on living on a small Downeast Maine island. Her poems use all the senses to bring alive encounters on the sea, land and island marshes, among creatures and flowers and the people of a small tight knit community. Her poetry reflects not just the nature of insular living in Maine, but her internal sense of place and affinity with the environment.
