Originally published in 1936, this is a facsimile, or exact, reprint of the original book. John Lazell was probably born in England about 1620 and died in Hingham, Massachusetts 21 Oc. 1700. He married 29 Nov. 1649, Elizabeth Gates, daughter of Stephen and Ann Gates, who came to New England with her parents on the ship Diligent in 1638 and died at Hingham 3 Aug. 1704. John Lazell was a resident of Hingham as early as 1647, when he was about twenty-eight years old. He was constable in 1677. (1936) 2017. 130pp. (130 total pages)
