"Sapphire and Benny, a brother and sister, are playing at their friend's house when they realise it is very late and getting dark. They know that their mother and father will be worried, so they hurry home, but on the way, they have to pass the scary old house on their street. Sapphire is sick of hurrying past and feeling frightened, so she says to Benny, "Let's go up and knock on the door and see who answers" This ends up with them being locked in the house with some very scary creatures."--Publisher description
