Benjamin and his funny dog Patch have so much fun together. Patch's antics really draw in young readers. Grandpa gave Patch to Benjamin for his birthday. Then, after a long illness, grandpa is taken to heaven by God and the angels. Benjamin's mom tells him that they will all be together again someday.
