About the Book A collection of 24 short stories published in various literary journals, Turquoise Tulips treats us to the interesting vignettes of practical psychology. The characters come from a spectrum of mental make-ups and backgrounds - geographical, national, cultural, ethnic and tribal. Tenderness, poignancy and sublimity suffuse from these stories. With a rare sensitivity, the characters are fashioned by capturing their physical actions, the throbs of their hearts, the waves of their minds, and the vibes of their souls. The narration is contextually gentle or racy, but always gripping - just with the right amount of description. The author's ability to internalize the situations and the characters imparts a rich thematic diversity to his stories, appealing to readers of every age group, every social and professional background.
