Author Description

The idea of writing this story about my father and Edward James came along after I visited West Dean College, the former family house of Edward Frank William James (1907-1984) which he donated to The Edward James Foundation and sponsored the West Dean College of Arts, locates in Chichester Sussex England, about two hour from London in train, I was received so nice and friendly by the Collection Manager Hugh Morrison and Collection Curator Sarah Hughes, who showed me around the place, I presented a power point document and I stayed with them for lunch, they were so interested in my material, since I took pictures nobody has seen before and my fathers lists of workers, and I told them my childhood memories about Edward James, so they encouraged me to write this book.
