Author Description

Merv had never thought of becoming a teacher. But his growing feet and the offer of a scholarship combined to steer him into his 'accidental' career. As a young man he thought he may teach for just a few years, but those few years grew into a rewarding lifelong career which eventually came to span more than 60 years. Come with Merv on his journey through those years, recalling with great humour the wonderful array of characters, both students and colleagues, that he met along the way.
