The work "See More" deals with the extension of human vision, its reasons and consequences. The basic assumption here, to be discussed and illustrated by way of example, is that for centuries, Western culture has accorded a particular attention to the visual sense. The implications are extensions of the ideological, structural and technical form. The collective and individual goals are firstly, to see more than what human nature makes possible, and secondly, to assure sight an advantage in the context of existing power struggles. This leads to the conclusion that an extension of the visual meaning is always rooted in drives of greed and power aspirations. Die Arbeit "Mehr Sehen" beschaftigt sich mit der Ausweitung des menschlichen Sehens, dessen Grunden und Folgen. Dabei wird die Grundannahme, dass im westlichen Kulturraum dem visuellen Sinn seit Jahrhunderten eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit zukommt, beispielhaft erortert. Die Folge sind Ausweitungen in ideologischer, struktureller sowie technischer Form. Das kollektive sowie individuelle Ziel, das damit angestrebt wird, ist zum einen mehr zu sehen als es die Natur dem Menschen ermoglicht und zum zweiten sich im Rahmen vorhandener Machtfragen einen Vorteil zu sichern. Dies fuhrt zu der Erkenntnis, dass eine Ausweitung des visuellen Sinns stets in Antrieben der Habgier und des Machtstrebens verwurzelt ist.
