In history, there are objects that Man had fought to get their hands on, but history is silent about one object. Only a brave few have written about it, and a few of history's greatest figures had it in their hands. It is presumed to be lost throughout the ages, until now. Ayden Barrett carried a mark on his wrist for most of his life. He remembers clearly on how he got it, but does not know what exactly gave it to him. His search for a remedy for his mark leads him to face one Nocturne member after another. All of them end up dead. These deaths do not go unnoticed by the city detective. Ayden is on the run and soon after he has his encounter with Nocturne's leader-and on the verge of getting his mark cured-he is arrested. He is released by a strange man of another secret society, and soon Ayden has to travel across the world to find that it's not only his mark that has him cursed. It is a trinket, given to him by a shaman, which has everyone coming after him.
