Author Description

A modern junk journal that transforms everyday scraps into art—no rules, no perfection, just creative play. Just Add Junk reimagines the traditional junk journal as a vibrant, design-driven space for creative exploration. Illustrator and designer Megan Roy invites readers to cut, paste, and collage their way through playful prompts and colorful spreads using what they already have—ticket stubs, packaging, notes, and other bits of life. The book includes 6 sticker pages, 6 perforated cardstock pages of collage fodder drawn by Megan, and a simple envelope for collecting ephemera. With its bold graphics and light creative guidance, Just Add Junk makes junk journaling accessible, modern, and endlessly fun for beginners and experienced makers alike.
