Social, religiology and legal aspects of religious crime in the modern Russian society are analyzed in this monograph as well as the essence of religious crime as a cultural phenomenon and a form of reli-gious life. Much attention is paid to prevention of crimes committed on religious grounds within the penal system of Russia; regulatory basis is examined in detail. Peculiarities of religious crime development and the ways of coping are considered in the context of legal culture and social and cultural process.
