Author Description

Compelling, sardonic, and sincerely authentic, Wrestled from the Raritan follows a writer's journey into the arduous spontaneity of poetic thought and self-reflection. Filled with attainments of life's banality, references to antiquity, and certainly a pang of amenable conscience, this collection covers a broad spectrum of topics, unfiltered from the mind of the author himself. Venture through the evocative narrative of "In The Winter, I Found You," weaving a tale of love's unbreakable connection. Embark on an excursion of self-discovery and embrace the beauty of your unique path with 'Their Journey Is Never Yours'-a testament to the power of personal growth and acceptance. Feel the sorrow of a love that has been stripped away in "Flaying Eros," and revel in the bliss of the pure companionship depicted in "Babygirl." Confront the challenges of embracing one's true self in "Furnishings," and feel the nostalgic warmth of a loved one remembered in "Sonny." No matter which page you open to, each composition in this work offers a glimpse into the depths of the author's being, and a devotedly honest analysis of the human condition. Wrestled from the Raritan extends an invitation to both seasoned aficionados and those new to the realm of poetry, offering an experience that is sure to resonate deeply, stir contemplation, and potentially enhance one's appreciation for the art of Poetry.
