Author Description

A collection of poems exploring the unique nature of being young. In each poem, Setty builds up a piece of the metaphorical garden of youth. Whether a poem describes an event occurring inside the home by the garden, inside the minds of creatures in the garden, or inside the earth that makes the garden, Setty paints a beautiful extended metaphor of the mixed emotions of growing older.
