Author Description

In this book there is a selection of poetry inspired by the human condition and nature itself, touching on how we fall in and out of feeling and thought, whilst also navigating emotions that fuel the biggest decisions we will ever make. Scorched Blue is about how complex we are as a species, the title suggests a raging hot flame yet the appearance is cold and blue, perhaps suggesting that not all emotions can be obvious and visible, that some are deep rooted within us. This life is fragile but it is also the most impactful thing we have experienced, the balancing act of both parallels is something to strive for. I hope you find some inspiration within the words that live in this book, and discover some part of your balancing act.
