Fun Fact: Fewer than 9% of Americans read poetry regularly. Here is a book of poetry to change the minds of the 91%; I have high hopes. This volume pairs each poem with its impetus in an introductory paragraph; that paragraph being either the circumstances for the poem or the meaning behind it. The purpose for this approach is to lure the 91% non-poetry readers into the world or poetry with an accompanying prose. Please enjoy.
