Author Description

Our stay on earth is a tapestry of the time we spend with other people. Being human means embracing the spectrum of emotions that this entails. The project of understanding another person can be long, sometimes difficult, but nearly always beautiful. Some nights, as we lie awake, the person we are trying to understand might be ourselves. These poems recognize and honor this privileged process.
