Operation "Crew Cut" is the code name for the FBI's covert plan to rid Chicago of the mob gang known as the "LaSalle Street Crew". While on undercover assignment as a "juice extracting" extortionist for the mob, determined and hard-boiled private detective Seth Daniels finds himself flying too close to the flame, witnessing a brutal murder committed by the mob boss's renegade son. With his clandestine mission now in jeopardy, Seth calls upon his hard-drinking, street-savvy Chippewa sidekick, Johnny Wolf, to "watch his back" while he endeavors one last time to permeate the Crew's inner sanctum and complete his mission. In his desperate attempt to salvage the operation, Seth's mettle is tested when the mob boss finally catches on and sends a pair of hit men to silence him, which is only the beginning of a non-stop violent roller coaster ride for both Seth and Johnny. Fueling the duo's escalating need for split-second heroics is Seth's struggle to get out of "Operation Crew Cut" with his life, and to protect his long-lost love, who has re-surfaced and become innocently embroiled in this highly charged thrill-ride.
