If you could review the modern age through the eyes of someone who has lived through it how would it go? In From Buggies To Rockets, I begin with a world long ago, before electricity, before cars, before indoor plumbing. How the world has changed in the past century? not that I have witnessed this entire period. I remember clearly the first radio, the first television, the first movie, the first car?so many firsts? things taken for granted by so many people.I thought that it would be helpful to hear what it was like to experience these changes, for those of us who live with microwaves to learn what it was like to cook over wood stoves, for those who drive to work in fast cars equipped with stereos and cellular phones to learn what it was like to think going to town in a buggy was a real treat. From Buggies To Rockets is my informal history of the past to the present.
