The Creation plays an integral part in our Heavenly Father's plan of salvation; however, many have difficulty reconciling scriptural descriptions of Creation with the origins of life as revealed by modern science. This book explains why there is no conflict between modern science and ancient scripture, only a contrived conflict between modern science and a modern reading of ancient scripture, a reading that is tragically displaced from historical and cultural contexts and uninformed of ancient literary devices. This book situates the scriptural accounts of Creation within their proper historical, cultural and literary contexts so that we can understand more fully the messages and meaning they hold.
