Generally speaking, our government does a lousy job of long-range strategic planning. The result is that we tend to muddle along and not have our systems in a condition that is in the best interest of we-the-people. When being critical of our systems, be it education, elections, Congress’ inefficiency, deficit spending, congressional pork or whatever, we tend to most often speak out about the problem and not often enough do we offer up actual, workable solutions to those problems. This book defines today's most critical issues and then suggests how we can go about fixing them.
