Do you ever fear that, even if you plan your entire life, it is still not going to end up how you want it to go?There will never be a time in your life when you will be able to escape "the unexpected" from happening. Despite this, we must learn to adjust. We have to become adept at pivoting when challenged and at releasing what we cannot control so that we can excel in any and every situation. I Didn't Plan for This inspires, encourages, and redirects you to a failproof source of peace. This book reminds us not to forget who is actually in control -- God. With grace and transparency, Jalia Wallace writes about topics we all eventually encounter such as: Overcoming Failure Understanding How to Let GoEmbracing LonelinessPersisting through Imperfections Understanding and Building Relationships Although Jalia gave her life to Christ at a very young age, she eventually reached a point at which she felt she'd lost herself. She felt far from Christ and she almost completely gave up on living at all. While her journey was very hard, she explains why fighting to overcome "the unexpected" challenges she faced was worth it. Moreover, she shares how essential returning to Christ was in her quest to be made new. Yes, there will be times when you feel incredibly far away from God.
