Author Description

Our nation is increasingly becoming more culturally and ethnically diverse. We have been called the great melting pot because of the many backgrounds and origins of ancestors of our people. The United States has become less homogeneous throughout the years. As the population has grown, immigrants have retained less of their way of life, and ethnic groups have embraced more cultural differences and values. With this expanse, the lack of commonalities and traditions has made educating such a broad range of backgrounds more complex. Parenting norms and expectations of youth have faded since days of long ago. Some things that once worked do not work anymore. Some practices have become obsolete. Times have changed and so have parents and kids. For the newly married couple that is planning their life with kids someday or the new parents in the infant ward of the hospital, even the established family or parents looking for a better way, you may be asking the questions, how do I raise my children in this day and age? What is acceptable and what is not? What are the best strategies and techniques to deal with my toddler? Awesome Parents Awesome Kids takes a look at one father's journey in becoming a new husband and parent and the route he took in becoming and awesome parent and raising awesome kids. Try it. It works!
