On the eve of Bob Latchford's wedding day trouble brews. Bowen Crossing, Latchford's town, is ten miles from Gila Junction, where the Brodie gang has been involved in a failed bank robbery. With one gang member injured, Cy Brodie is determined to get medical help, but the nearest town is Bowen Crossing where he'll have to face Bob Latchford. With both a posse and an Apache hunting party on the trail, the dangers of the desert seem small in comparison. Cy Brodie knows that whichever way the cards fall, he'll be in big trouble.
