Author Description

In 1908, William Hope Hodgson published The House on the Borderland, a classic of supernatural paranoia that has been read by generations and praised by legendary horror novelist H.P. Lovecraft. Now this timeless tale is adapted into comics by Richard Corben, one of the acknowledged masters of comic-book horror. This is the story of a house that sits between two realms: our bleak world of colorless normality, and the Realms of Cosmic Horror where Reason struggles to conquer Fear. To this ancient dwelling, a challenger comes -- to exorcise its curse, plumb the Pits of Ultimate Perversity, and perhaps, prevent evil's emergence into our world.
