Author Description

A light, bright book about disarming, not altogether resolved, Kathleen O'Brien from Altoona -- now the secretary of the all too couth, rich and married Mr. Master of an old line publishing house. And even if she's got her steno book ready at all times, he usually wants to play Scrabble by the hour and win (onyx for a triple), and while his wife's away... well that's only too predictable. But then there's Leonard Schiller who's been her Pygmalion and has groomed her on Anthropology and SANE and is ready to take care of her if she's ready to make up her mind which is so very much her own.... Vy. ap.ling spd. rding and like her irresponsible brother Jack says, you'll wish her bluebirds. Kirkus Review
