Author Description

Have you recently become a Christian and now have a Spiritual thirst that the Holy Spirit gives you to read and learn more about your new-found life in Christ and don't know where to turn or what to read for answers? Reading the gospel of John and proceeding into the book of Acts is a wonderful enlightenment but what about those nagging questions that keep coming to mind, and what do those various confusing and conflicting expressions that you hear mean? What is "Pentecostalism"? What is "Charismatic," the "baptism of the Holy Spirit," and, moreover, did I receive them with my Salvation? "Speaking in tongues" -- is it something that I need to do to become a completed Christian? Should I still expect to see miraculous healings today? Are there such things as Demons, and what are they allowed to do? This book answers all of those questions and more. Stephen P. Baltz was born in Southern California where he attended college, received a degree in Political Science, entered law school, and worked in the title insurance industry. The Lord interrupted these careers and led him into banking where, early in his profession, he was led to Santa Ana, California, for four months -- just long enough for him to make a highly-speculative loan while the Lord supernaturally controlled members of the Loan Committee, thereby allowing the formation of a major Christian broadcasting network. Later, the Lord caused various banking regulators to give him and his wife the ownership of five failed banks and approximately $3,700,000, while assisting them in restoring those banks to rapid profitability. The Lord changed his dispensational mindset when He led him to a lost boy, who had been missing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains for a week, which had become the leading news story.
