Author Description

The House of Monty hosts a raging soiree, a place for fat wealth to hover around svelte glamour. In the cloud city of Anoreve, only those worthy by name survive. The young and ambitious Mercury hopes to climb the ranks within the house controlled by the greedy Monty, his intimidating Guns, and the ingenious Brains. While Monty positions himself to gain more power over the city, the Brains furiously work at concocting an antidote to cure the virus that has ravaged the humanity below. In order to combine houses with the lovely Jules, Monty commissions Mercury to travel to Ground Zero, the land of the zombified bottom dwellers, to seek out a precious ring worn by royalty. Once the gilded elevator doors open to this lost world, Mercury discovers a beautiful secret he wishes to keep to himself. In this tragic love story, good faces evil, and the laws of nature test the limits of science in a tale that brings new meaning to the word "starfish." Stacy Renee Keywell enjoys spending time misusing, mispronouncing, and misspelling languages, especially in her native tongue, English. When she is not stargazing or daydreaming, she creates adventures for her family to conquer. Besides following her whimsical dreams, Stacy likes to sing to the music in her head, dance poorly, and compose nonsensical words. She is also the author of Forbidden Sky, book one of the Dark Wing series. Stacy resides in Michigan in a little house in the woods with her husband and two daughters.
