Where Is It? By: Vernell Edwards Vernell Edward’s daughter, Valneisha, was given her favorite stuffed animal at age two. She loved to hold it while being read to anytime during the day. It quickly became her greatest comfort in times of stress. She carried it everywhere she could. She slept with it every night until she went away to college. When Valneisha attended Morgan State University, her stuffed animal was left on her bed until she arrived back home during her school breaks. She never fell out of love with her stuffed rabbit, but she did learn to cope with stressful times without it. Her stuffed animal became a loving memory throughout her life.
